Ms. Landon is a first year teacher at SAEL who is psyched to bring together her passions for the outdoors and education into a meaningful curriculum. She grew up in the northern California foothills and has learned to call many places home like Reno, Italy, Argentina, and New Zealand. Curiosity propels her spirit and is a forefront of her class ideologies.

Ms. Landon holds a Secondary Teaching and English degree from the University of Nevada Reno and has taught students ages 5-65 in 4 countries. Professionally she is dedicated to researching and improving outdoor literacy practices and shaping educational models that better support student learning and overall wellbeing. Ms. Landon loves exploring the Sierra Nevadas through snowboarding, climbing, biking, and hiking. She also loves exploring fantastic ideas and worlds through philosophy and literature.
