How to Learn More About SAEL
We invite interested families to attend an evening information session at SAEL (505 Main Street, Downtown Nevada City) from 5:30–7:00pm on any of the following dates: Jan. 14th, Feb. 4th, Feb. 25th, March 11th, and March 25th. Each session includes an interactive presentation about our learning model, time for Q&A, and a quick tour of the school. All dates offer the same information; no RSVP is needed, all are welcome.

Application Process:
SAEL is a school of choice, and our application and enrollment process does not include any merit-based criteria or requirements. Our goal is to welcome 60 new 9th-grade students in August 2026. After the application deadline, SAEL staff will use official pre-enrollment paperwork to verify that students’ immunization records meet state requirements. If SAEL receives more eligible and committed applications than available spots, a waitlist will be created.
