Several first day of school no shows mean we now
have spots available that were previously taken.

Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning is a new, tuition-free, public charter high school located near downtown Grass Valley. We currently offer 9th - 12th grades. Through project-based, hands-on, college preparatory academics, students are asked to develop meaningful, authentic work and to push beyond what they once thought was possible. All students receive a Chromebook to work on at school and at home and we do regular fieldwork that takes students beyond the traditional classroom. We will serve up to 240 students at full capacity. Check out our new charter below!
