Board  Meeting Packets with Agendas

Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning operates as its own LEA. The governing board consists of a representative group of community members, including family members of current and graduated students. Sierra Academy of Expeditionary Learning is authorized by the Nevada Joint Union High School District and there is a representative from the district on the Board.

We are an independent, public charter high school.

We collaborate with our authorizers, the Nevada Joint Union High School District, but our board operates independently.

Regular Board Meetings are held on the third or fourth Thursday of the month as much as possible.  They will usually be at 5:30pm in Room R4 at SAEL on 505 Main Street, Nevada City, 95959. Those links are available on the school's main calendar that is public on the calendar page of the SAEL website as well as on the agenda in the packets.
